What is GFRP : Why does it Matter?

GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rebars are next-generation reinforcement materials composed of high-strength glass fibers embedded in a polymer matrix. These bars do not rust, outperform traditional steel in tensile strength, and are significantly lighter and cost-effective over the lifecycle of a project.

Advantages of
PATH GFRP over TMT

  • Superior strength-to-weight.
  • 1.5× tensile strength vs. conventional steel use-cases.
  • Excellent corrosion resistance and cost-efficiency in harsh environments.
  • About 75% lighter than steel, easing transport and installation.
  • No additional concrete cover required for marine, acidic, or electrical exposure.

Our State of the Art GFRP Manufacturing Facility

Our facility includes 4 straight and 5 bending lines with a capacity of 40,000 RMT/day. We produce bar sizes from 6mm to 20mm and have the capacity of making upto 32mm. Our automated pultrusion lines ensure precision and BIS-compliant quality.

Manufacturing Overview

Path GFRP’s state-of-the-art plant in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, reflects our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability in composite reinforcement. Spanning 12 acres, the facility transforms ideas into world-class Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars—delivering durability and cost efficiency for modern construction. Operating 24×7 with a capacity of 100–120 tonnes/month, the plant meets large-scale infrastructure and private sector demands across India. Over 60 skilled engineers, technicians, and support staff ensure every bar upholds Path’s quality standards, strict timelines, and customer trust. Four large sheds house production lines, assembly units, and auxiliary operations. Specialized in-house divisions—including a fully equipped QA/QC laboratory, precision machine shop, dedicated electrical maintenance, and a staff mess—enable self-reliance, consistent quality, and workforce care. Sustainability is central: partially solar-powered today, the plant will soon transition to 100% solar energy, setting benchmarks for green manufacturing. We have been certified by IIT Indore, Certifications from IIT Roorkee and BIS are underway, reinforcing the superior performance and reliability already recognized by partners and customers. The plant doubles as a learning hub—hosting engineering students and trainees under government skill programs, while Path Foundation runs welfare and training initiatives that nurture people and expertise. Strategic facilities in Punjab and Bengaluru complement Mhow, expanding reach and ensuring faster deliveries nationwide. The Path GFRP plant is more than a production site—it is a center of excellence where technology, sustainability, and human potential converge, driving the future of reinforcement technology and building a stronger, greener tomorrow.
